New Review! WCPD 1959 Chevrolet El Camino and Biscayne Sedan Delivery

Friday, 19 December 2008 20:27 by Peter
Here it is, the second in our series of in-depth model reviews. This time we're covering West Coast Precision Diecast's recently introduced new colors for their 1959 Chevrolet line-up, the El Camino in Jet Black, and the Biscayne Sedan Delivery in Ermine White. Both are true precision diecasts worthy of their name, and we'll do our usual walk-around, kicking the tires and such, as well as taking a closer look inside and under the hood. Check out both Photo spreads on our Photos & Reviews page, or skip right to the Full Review here.

Danbury Mint 1947 Ford Special Deluxe Tudor Sedan

Monday, 1 December 2008 21:44 by Peter
Photo by Bob AlescioHere it is, Danbury's latest Preview Society offering, the 47 Ford Tudor. Painted a period-correct monsoon maroon, it is a good representative of the common man's car in the postwar era. Bob Alescio was one of the first to receive this new model, and you can see all of his photos here in our forum. Based on Bob's photos and comments, it seems Manny and Moe are to be congratulated on another fine reproduction.
