I have long been interested in, and collected, automotive ephemera. Here are just a few of my favorites for you to enjoy. Watch for occasional witty captions contributed by my fellow collectors. I will keep uploading "new" ads here as time and space permit. I really enjoy looking at the artwork, the slogans, the period clothing and styles, all representative of an age gone by, but not forgotten.

1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

I have to say, her dress really DOES bring out the color of the wheels.

1955 Buick Super

What's not to love? It's a 55 Buick in Black & Red!

1957 Pontiac Star Chief

He looks angry and She looks confused. It must be the dress!

1957 Plymouth Suburban

This one looks almost like a Norman Rockwell painting.

1950 Hudsons

I love the exaggerated length and shortened height the illustrator has employed in this drawing.

1957 Mercury

Love those taillights! (and the outfit ain't too shabby either)

1960 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

"At Whitlock Gemologists complete discretion is assured. Your wife will never know." by "G-Bo"

1953 Packard

Nice Car! But what IS that brown hairy thing under the table? LOL

1948 Oldsmobile

Futuramic, huh? I wonder why they stopped using that slogan? Too late to go back now!!

1963 Chrysler Turbine Car

I've always loved this car, but until I saw this I wasn't aware Chrysler used it in their print ads.
